Cargo declaration Internet

Cargo declaration Internet 1.1

Shipping companies/cargo handling agents without an in-house computer system can make use of Cargo declaration Internet 1.1 to submit their brief cargo declarations to Customs. The new service is part of the electronic port window for declarations and mandatory notifications that Port infolink is developing in close consultation with the business community and government bodies.
Cargo declaration EDI 1.1 and Vessel notification 2.2 are also part of this port window.

Cargo declaration Internet 1.1 coincides with the introduction of the new declaration system Sagitta Binnenbrengen by Customs. It is the aim of Customs to only receive summary declarations electronically. Sagitta Binnenbrengen will replace both the paper declarations and RODOS (Rotterdam Customs System).

Via Cargo declaration Internet 1.1, companies constantly ensure themselves of a streamlined declaration process. The web-based service also facilitates the feedback from Customs and offers up-to-date status information. Companies retain the option to add and/or alter information throughout the entire process.
