Loading list
The service Loading list offers shipping lines and cargo handling agents a tailor-made tool for the submission of loading lists to container terminals. Through the service, loading lists can be submitted both via EDI and, very easily, via e-mail. Regarding the latter, the service automatically converts loading lists in, for example, Excel format to EDI messages for the terminal. This means companies do not have to develop their own EDI messages and can continue working conform their own familiar methods.
Market parties
The service Loading list offers advantages to sea terminals, shipping lines and cargo handling agents throughout the entire container sector: deep-sea, shortsea and feeder.
Business issues
In the past, the container terminals used to receive a high percentage of their loading lists by fax or e-mail. It then took them a lot of effort to copy these lists into their systems, with all the ensuing chances of mistakes. In view of the constant increase in container volumes, this operating method in addition made it more and more difficult for the terminals to properly prepare for the handling of a ship and optimally gear the stack to the further handling of containers.
The advantages at a single glance
Easy submission of loading lists via EDI or the Internet;
Uniform electronic input for terminals, which enables them to operate more efficiently, better plan and offer improved service levels;
Easy compliance with the requirements of terminals in terms of the electronic submission of loading lists.
Fewer and more reliable administrative processes;
Available 24/7 via one single Internet portal;
Highly user-friendly.
Requirements for participation
In the case of EDI, a link-up to the own in-house computer system is necessary; if the Internet is selected, then all that is required is a PC with access to the Internet (Internet Explorer 6.0 or up).
The costs for making use of the service Loading list have been in included in the

Discharge list
. If this service is not participated in, then a separate own contribution applies to the service Loading list.
